Is your marketing strategy kinda like throwing spaghetti at the wall and hoping it sticks?
These are My tips to easy marketing goal setting, so if you like structure like me,, will make life so much easier.
If you are just getting started, results will take some time. Like any plan, like building muscle or nutrition,,, you will get more traction after a few months. So Please be patient.
I usually set a few goals per quarter, I also categorise them to keep things tidy and easier to compare apples with apples when you are doing your reporting. Let’s be honest you can’t compare apples and Durian fruit…barff.
Eg. One Category could be: product launches or… increase brand awareness, or launch a new product.
Then you can have sub categories, eg.. main goal is brand awareness, your sub cateogory will be to increase new traffic to my website by 20% by December.
Your marketing strategy needs to:
- Group them by calendar quarter
- Define some goal categories
- Set sub goals eg: drive more web traffic
- Define the measurement – eg 20%
- Set a deadline – by December
- Measure
