My life has honestly been a massive journey and continues to be.
I grew up in a country town always dreaming of the big smoke. At 18 I followed my dreams and moved to the closest city to study graphic design.
Fast forward to 27 when i set off to explore the other side of the world. I travelled europe, eygpt and the UK, working my way from pay check to pay check. I sailed down the Nile, crawled through pyramids and was a Teacher Aide. It was the greatest adventure and i grew as a person in so many ways.
After 2 yrs i came home but i didnt feel the same. I had grown up. I now had a hunger to travel regularly and continue to learn and push my limits.
Then just when u have things under control, life throws you a exciting curve ball. During a trip around Sth America, i had the opportunity to move to Peru and start my own business. Being a travel addict, i jumped at the chance.
I paraglided over the ocean, helped build a kindergarten in a shanty town, all while trying to learn another language. What a ride and when i felt i had achieved all i could, i handed the business over and went home. One suitcase and no plan.
I took time to build my marketing tool belt, but felt i was taking 3 steps backward during the work week. So my search started to find a way to find balance. To find depth, joy and creativity.
I soon realised I can’t solve a problem from the same place i made the problem. So, off i went to mexico to find myself.
While sitting on one of the most beautiful beaches in the world (I haven’t seen them all, but id sure love to), i was reading a book on finding your passion and the author believed that your true passion is often closely related to what you wanted to be when you grew up.
So, once a small 5 year old teaching her barbie and teddy, fast forward to now, im teaching and helping business owners with marketing – who knew 🤷♀️
